Located in the west end of the town of Daajing Giids, Spruce Point Lodge is the only accommodation in the area that is located right on the water. It offers spectacular views, sunsets and sunrises to please the most ardent photographer, as well as lots of bird and marine life to experience. The perfect combination!
Each room in Spruce Point Lodge has a private entrance onto a deck overlooking the water as well as it's own bathroom, T.V. and high speed wireless internet.
Our unique location gives you a quiet place to stroll on the beach and do a bit of beach-combing. You can have a fire on the beach and watch the sun go down. Spruce Point is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from most amenities, and about a 15 minutes drive to B.C. Ferries and the Haida Heritage Center.
Dear cherished clients. After 38 years of delivering breakfast to the guests in their rooms 365 days of the year, we have decided that we can no longer offer breakfast as part of our accommodation package. Lack of capacity (age and health included) plus the soaring cost of food has make it impractical for us to provide breakfast. As of September 1, 2024, we will be providing accommodation only.
We will continue to supply coffee and tea supplies and will be providing jams, honey and peanut butter in our rooms. Each room will be equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and toaster at a minimum.
We’d like to thank all those guests who expressed their appreciation for our breakfasts, and we thank you for your understanding and support as we transition to accommodation only.
